More about me

Hi there! I’m a senior at Vianu High School with a big passion for physics and math. Over the years, I’ve had some amazing opportunities to dive deep into science and help others along the way, such as Vicyber, our robotics club, to which I am president.

Some highlights of my academic journey include winning Second Prize in the National Physics Olympiad, First Prize in the Phi Carpath Physics Competition, and an international win in the European Astro Pi Challenge. I have also taken two physics courses at Harvard Summer School to learn more about other interpretations of physics. I’m all about learning, sharing knowledge, and hopefully inspiring others to see just how exciting science can be!

Moreso, as a Research Assistant at the Applied Nuclear Physics Department of the Horia Hulubei Institute of Physics and Nuclear Engineering Horia Hulubei, I’ve been part of exciting projects on proton therapy and material science, and I even got to present our work at European Researchers' Night!

Outside the lab, I am an actor at my school's theater club, where I’ve worked with an incredible team to put on performances that won us the award for Best Theater Club in Bucharest! Oh, and not to forget, I love cosplaying in my free time! Pretty geeky, I know, but it is very fun!!! ;)
